Week 6 - The introduction example
Today, more and more people are using internet. Compared to 10 years ago, the number of the internet users are more than ten-fold. And the cyber ethics problem is also getting higher by increasing the number of internet users. The most example of the cyber ethics problem is violating privacy and stealing personal information. It is not the another's affair. You may be violated your privacy. If we want to know someone, google may show his information like his ex-girlfriend, his funny photos which he wants to hide. Also by the developing of SNS like facebook or Twitter, finding the person's past is getting easier. Imagine that you posted your embarrassed photos or comments, and facebook has a function that is 'tag'. If your friend posted your funny photos and tag you, your friend and his friend can view that and if they click the 'like', many people who are not familiar with you can view your pictures. And you are hard to delete it. Although you are posted pictures or wrote comments yourself, you may think that it is embarrassing. But if we search on the google, the information about your past lives still existing. So I argue that the right to be forgotten is more necessary than the right to be informed.
